Rattlesnake Avoidance Training

Pictured  is a large Southern Pacific Rattlesnake that was removed from behind a clothes dryer in Apple Valley, CA.

Living in a region with several species of venomous snakes, pet owners can help their dogs to have the “upper hand” when confronted with a venomous species.

Rattlesnake avoidance training is an extremely effective method of teaching dogs that rattlesnakes should be avoided at all costs.  Properly trained with the species of snakes local to your area, the risk of a dog suffering what is often a fatal strike is reduced to nearly zero.
